PRE-CARE INSTRUCTIONS
To protect your health, please carefully read and follow this information.
⛔︎ AVOID alcohol, ibuprofen, aspirin or blood thinners* — 48 hours before your appointment as they increase bleeding risk.
‣ It is recommended to avoid alcohol and caffeine for at least 24 hours before the procedure, as they can affect the sensitivity of the skin.
‣ Medications:
❖ Avoid nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) such as Ibuprofen (Advil,Motrin) & Naproxen
❖ Anticoagulant medications such as warfarin (Coumadin), heparin, and enoxaparin (Lovenox), etc.
❖ Antiplatelet medications such as clopidogrel (Plavix) and ticagrelor (Brilinta), etc.
❖ Herbal supplements with blood-thinning properties, such as ginkgo biloba, garlic, and fish oil
⛔︎ NO BOTOX, FILLERS, IPL/LASER, or CHEMICAL PEELS, 1 to 2 weeks prior to your appointment.
⛔︎ Reschedule if you have any rashes, cold sores, sunburn or infections in the area to be treated.
‣ You should avoid retinoids, topical antibiotics, exfoliants, hydroquinone, sunburn, and benzoyl peroxide prior to procedure.
✔︎ Arrive with clean skin – no makeup, creams, oils or sunscreens on the area to be treated.
⛔︎ Do NOT use antiviral agents on the day of your treatment.
✔︎ Plan for the appointment to take less or more than 2-4 hours for the initial procedure especially for virgin skin or without semi-permanent tattoo experience. Please schedule and plan your appointment accordingly.
⛔︎ For your safety, we do not recommend these treatments if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Please rebook your appointment for before or after this period.
✔︎ Medical Conditions, please inform us if you have any of the following:
‣ Highblood/low blood pressure – can cause slow healing.
‣ Diabetes, haemophilia(or any bleeding disorder) and other conditions may delay the healing process.
‣ Skin disease like keloid or hypertrophic scarring;
‣ Allergy: if you have allergy, inform us. Allergic reactions to pigments, numbing agents or other materials used. We advice client to take antihistamine before the procedure.
‣ Virus: Hepatitis C, AIDS, HIV – certain viral infections can affect the healing process, or in some cases, may increase the risk of complications. We must take additional precautions to ensure your health and safety during and after the procedure.
‣ Autoimmune disorder
Informing us allows us to use safe alternatives and take preventive measures. We want to ensure your safety and a smooth recovery process.
